I am only the 2nd owner of this big red beauty, a 1984 f150 stepside having bought it used off a dealer lot in 1987 with 46,000 miles on it. It has been a good and faithful truck all these 29 years waiting patiently each month for me to get home from driving my big rig. As she aged i used to pat her on the hood and promise that someday i would have her restored back to her original beauty. So two years ago began a total on frame restoration. This truck is set up to tow with a reese hitch, 7 pin brake controller, both oil and transmission coolers and heavy rear springs. There is a stock jasper 302 (dropped in at 124,000, aod transmission (rebuilt at 145,000), recently rebuilt holley 2 barrel carb, dual exhaust with glass packs (new in 2012), new alum wheels/tires. New battery, starter, solenoid, alarm, new points, plugs, wires, distributor, all new belts/hoses, new steering shaft, shocks, tie rods, new front and rear brakes, calipers, rotors and drums turned, and i beam bushings replaced. The ac has been gone through and converted with a new condenser, evaporator, accumulator, orifice, hoses and fittings and blows good and cold. Custom blood red paint w/ led trim and tail lights, halogen retrofit headlights, new sliding rear window, billet grill, ss nerf bars, diamond plate bed, side rails, flaps and tailgate. The interior is in good condition with new dash/door panels, new carpet, headliner (molded w 4 speakers & cb) and sony am/fm/cd. The bench seat is original and was covered most of its life. I am retired now and having mobility issues so sadly it is time for me to sell this beauty that not only looks good but also runs good and sounds good too and let someone else enjoy all the attention that comes with owning it. It gets thumbs up all the time. I am asking $17,800 because that is what i have into the restore, and that's not not even counting any intrinsic value in just the old truck to start. I am open to a fair offer but not going to give it away either. AM/FM✔ Air Conditioning
